Welcome to Letters of Light
Letters of Light is a faith-based ministry based in Maryland, dedicated to sharing hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ with individuals walking through difficult seasons of life. Through thoughtfully prepared envelopes filled with handwritten letters, prayers, scripture, and small gifts, our mission is to remind people that they are seen, valued, loved, and never alone.
Each envelope is created with care and prayer by volunteers who are passionate about serving others through faith and encouragement. Through partnerships with ministries, churches, organizations, and community groups, we are able to reach individuals across the country and share hope one envelope at a time.
Because sometimes a few handwritten words can make all the difference.
What Every Envelope Includes:
A personalized handwritten letter created with encouragement, care, and prayer. Every letter is thoughtfully written with the hope of reminding someone they are valued & loved.
A Bible verse chosen specifically for the recipient’s situation, along with a handwritten note explaining why it was selected. Each card is meant to offer hope, comfort, and biblical encouragement.
A thoughtful keepsake and reminder that someone is praying for you. Every envelope is carefully prepared, prayed over, and delivered free of charge.
