Meet The Founder:

Hi, I’m Zoe Levy, founder of Letters of Light. I am a high school student based in Howard County, Maryland, with a passion for serving others, encouraging people through difficult seasons, and sharing the love of Christ in meaningful ways. While Letters of Light began as a simple idea, it quickly grew into something much bigger—a mission rooted in faith, compassion, and the belief that no one should have to walk through life’s challenges alone.

The idea for Letters of Light was born from two things that have always been important to me: my faith and my love for writing. After hearing messages about serving others and using the gifts God gives us to make a difference, I felt called to create something that could bring hope directly to people who need it most. What started as a small idea soon became a vision for a ministry centered around encouragement, prayer, and personal connection.

Today, Letters of Light partners with ministries, churches, organizations, and community groups to provide thoughtfully prepared envelopes filled with handwritten letters, scripture, prayer, and small gifts. My hope is that every envelope serves as a reminder that someone cares, that they are deeply loved, and that they are never alone. Thank you for being here and supporting this mission. I am incredibly grateful for every volunteer, partner, recipient, and supporter who helps make Letters of Light possible. Together, we are sharing hope, spreading light, and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and loved!

Where We Are Today:

Every envelope is thoughtfully prepared with prayer, encouragement, and care. What began as a simple idea has grown into a mission dedicated to reminding people that they are seen, valued, loved, and never alone, helping us reach people of all needs.

Letters of Light is made possible by volunteers who generously give their time to write letters, pray for recipients, and share hope through acts of kindness. Together, we are building a community centered on faith, compassion, and service.

We work alongside ministries, churches, organizations, and community groups to reach individuals who may benefit from encouragement and support. These partnerships help us share hope with people facing difficult seasons across the country
